Susan & Chris Wedding prt I

Been a long time ey?. new year new resolutions. This year I resume frequent bloging so keep it locked. Last month I got to do my first wedding.. been passing wedding jobs felt it was not my thing, but after shooting these, I feel it is something I can do. Shooting weddings is a bit complicated due to unpredictable lighting and such but with a fast lens, a steady hand and a third eye it can be tonnes of fun

While shooting these I put into use some skills I acquired from Onetouch that is stepping onto toes of other photographers who come in your way… we had lots of other photographers brandishing DSLRs, Compacts, phones you name it….even Aunts had turned in to photographers!…. being the Official or call it main shooter those who crossed my line got to know who’s boss as courtesy is something I could not find time for.

Part II is coming soon the images were far too many to fit into one post.

I ain’t got much to say. Enjoy!… oh hehe almost forgot.. if you are not new here you’ll notice I`m rocking a new blog design :) .

Nairobi CBD @ Night in HDR

A couple of weeks ago I hooked up with fellow photographers on a daring Night Photography in the streets of Nairobi. The fear of sleeping in Cold City Council cells kept us looking over our shoulders Kila dakika since we had not acquired permission to shoot. With our tripods and Gigantic DSLRs it was hard to be inconspicuous.

As if tempting fate we were daring enough to shoot a few blocks from Cityhall. We however managed without any incidents except for the curious motorist and bypassers.

Lukenya shoot I: Fashion

The Last couple of weeks have been a bit hectic for me as I was trapped in a never ending cycle of shoots and edits. I have lots of images to share and will share them as time allows.

I shot the images below in a photo shoot organized by Mutua Matheka and styled by Kay Ndeto with make up being done by Sonnie K. To say the least the shoot was fun and inspiring as subsequent posts will reveal.
